Hello!
Recently I have been in contact with Marc van Eck and he recommended me to place my request in this guestbook.
First let me introduce myself, my name is Saskia Toonen and I am the marketing manager of African Dawn Wines, a South African wine brand. We started our company in 2005 and we have been busy to develop a wine produced in harmony with nature. Rooiberg, our South African wine producer situated in Robertson, is a member of the BWI, the biodiversity and wine initiative which is a partnership between the South African government and the conservation sector to maintain the Western Cape biodiversity (for more information about this initiative please visit www.bwi.co.za).
Besides a BWI producer we also initiated our cork producer Amorim to develop FSC certified corks. We even found a supplier who was willing to produce FSC labels and also we use lightweight bottles to reduce the environmental pressure during transport. This all resulted in a range of wines produced in harmony with nature.
Currently we are refreshing our website. An important aspect of our new website will be an animation in which we will explain the importance of biodiversity and what we concretely do to stop the harm of the biodiversity in South Africa. Our goal namely is to make people aware of the importance of biodiversity and that it is also possible for a wine company (and other companies!) to take nature into account.
This is also the reason I posting this message. For this animation we are looking for a South African person that can record the voice-over of the animation in English. We would really like a South African person to do this because South African people speak a typical form of English and we really like this recognizable accent in our animation!
My question to you is, would you or perhaps someone else you know like to help us with this? If so, please contact me via the emailaddress info@africandawnwines.com or via the telephone number 0478 541 341
To get an impression on basics of the animation, please visit the following link, which we are using as starting point. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OT5uw1Fb_0
Hope to hear from someone soon,
Kind regards, Saskia Toonen
PS For more information about our company, please visit our website www.africandawnwines.com

Hi Gwenda,
Hocras (in Bussum) sells springbok, kudu, blesbok, ostrich, and even crocodile. You'll need a card to get into Hocras though. Perhaps you could ask for a "day card" to check it out before applying for the card. They also have the entire Mrs Balls Chutney selection.
